Why are you assuming the 044 is a "resistance"??

Easy to test, put a pressure gauge between the pumps and after the second pump.

The 044 is removing the resistance....

Sorry I thought you meant without the 044

i thought using a high pressure pump intank and a high pressure inline pump resulted in poorer flow and hotter fuel where as a lift pump to the external was hotness?

A lift pump to a surge and then a HP pump is much better than 2 hp pumps. Even better if you can adequately supply a surge by gravity

Basic fluid dynamics if you have pressure at a certain flow rate in say 1/2" line you reduce it to 1/4" then back to 1/2" there will be a slight pressure spike and head loss but no flow loss the liquid will just flow at higher speed through the 1/4" section so reverse this and voalla you would get a higher fluid speed through the in tank pump so allmtr is exactly right.

If that was correct the concept of a booster pump system would not work. Every high rise has one for the potable water and one for the fire. Also a multistage pump is like "multiple" pumps inside one pump.
This is a contradiction to what allmtr said.

That is not possible unless the second pump that was added was so poor it restricted the in tank pump if the fuel was going to get hotter by passing through two pumps then holy fuck keep it away from the engine and rails.

It's helpfull to have a Dr of fucking fluid dynamics here to educate us on the fucking fluid dynamics of a fuel fucking line.

                      Well done rdynocunt.

Putting 2 fuel pumps on instead of one will increase fuel flow. It's like science and shit. Well fuck me.
