the H22 is a very simple swap into an accord check out www.h22a.org for info on that. Doubt you would find the H22a type r motor as that was an Euro only thing. Check your wheel pattern to I always thought they were a 4 x 114.5 not the 4 x 100 like on a civic. Heaps of places in Adelaide can get H22 motors, jms and adelaidejap spring to mind at the moment. Whats the B16 going into ?

A1 have a h22a engine only. no box or wiring loom from memory. i also saw a b16a there sometime ago as well.

in sydney we stumlbed across a wicked looking lude with a type r accord engine so at least you know they are out there and some nutter has done it.

ohh btw my friend in melb just picked up a tegra type r engine, box and wiring loom for 1500 bloody bargain. its goign into his EG civic.
everytime you masterbate god kills a skyline.

the b16a will be going into my gf `93 civic. but i think there will be more work involved in her setup because she is running a stock single carby engine at the moment.

with the h22a could i just get the engine and use my original f22b1 parts on it? like the transmission etc?
coz i was thinking about getting the h22a and build it to handle turbo application. the civic will just be the straight swap.
i rang around today and found one half cut of prelude h22a jap spec they want $3000 is that alright?
there is also half cut of a crx also jap spec but they dont know the engine code coz they werent bothered going to look but they said it was DOHC vtec so im guessing here that it is a b16a. also for $3000
the thing is i want the type s one coz more horse power one guy i rang said they are in high demand over in japan so yeh pretty hard to get and they will be asking for big bucks for that one.
the type r accord and the type s are relatively the same i think the type s has 220hp and the type r 215 the jap spec has 200hp and the stock one over here has 180?190?hp. plz correct me if im wrong.
