For info on the RB25D head on RB30E swap have a look on Meggala's website.....he has a link.

The head to use for this swap is from the non-VVt RB25DE. It's pretty much a bolt on for the RB30 aside from the belts. Only prob being it will drop the compression ratio to something pretty low like 8:1 if I remember correctly.

The only prob is the cost of the head. A turbo head is worth a comple of grand...dont know about n/a, or if there is a difference between the two

The sump and pick-up from the RB30S (carb) engine in the MQ Nissan Patrol is the one to get for bolting any RB engine into a Z.....but finding one is the hard part. The sump from RB30E engine (R31 Skyline/VL Commode) is not suitable.

Only difference between turbo and NA heads in the Nissan RB series is the cams......
