    One other concern would be the it would cause a lot of wear by washing all the lube out of the head and then starting it and waiting for the oil to get back up their.

      Like coyote has said, mixing some oils can produce a nasty tossletail :p (yep it accpeted that one) which can make all sorts of weird and wacky outcomes. But usually it is confined to mixing exotic synthetics with minerals. 99% of full synthetics will be fine with one and other. As for oil flushes, i dont reccomend them because its hard to deposit all of the fluid from the engine one using. These left over might reduce the oils ability to protect the engine. Nothing is better than flushing with the oil your gonna use, if you can be bothered with the $'s.
