    RB25DET knock sensors - does it matter which one is connected to which plug?

    I guess I'm asking whether each one only listens on a certain portion of the engine rotation or whether the ECU monitors both continuously.

    Also if it does matter, how do you know whcih plug goes to which one since they're both the same color plug and wire..?

    I think they do monitor the cylinders in 2 groups. As such they should be hooked up correctly.

    And the way to work out which goes to which is to use the wiring diagram. How you get one of these is a different story.
