    Wheel/suspension noise...

Tonight after taking the Mirage out (been driving it regularly again after monthes of neglect/spite), the passenger side suspension started making a light repetitive knocking in relation to wheel rotations, similar to what i imagine a flat tyre would sound like (never had one). It is faint or non existant when driving straight, and is most present on hard right hand turns. The wheels are on tight, but do you guys have any suggestions on what to look out for this weekend when I jack it up and make a bit of an inspection. Im guessing some sort of bearing?

    Thanks

Most likely a CV joint mate. Not too hard to fix, although im not sure the cost of parts.

    Cheers

Could be a number of things. If it's CV it probably only needs repacking with grease, try giving the CV boot a good massage to get some grease out of it and back into the bearings where it belongs. It may even be just a wheel bearing not the CV, and it may not even be the left side - I've been fooled before, vibration will run along the driveshaft and sound like it's coming from somewhere else. Get a passenger to check it for you. It could even be a tyre has gone out of round.
      Why do people say I'm
      all torque no traction?

can be as simple as a stone / object in the tyre too.
