    Personally I would not mess about with a stock flywheel unless it was a steel one. These days a custom steel flywheel should cost about $500.

    Just a quick question Bill, did you ever manage to find a Toyota 1GZFE engine ? And do you know how wide they are, or if they have a 90 degree or 60 degree cylinder angle ?

      Mah, still looking. I think they're a 60° V, not sure though.

        I saw Bills mate and got an alloy flywheel made as mine sits level with my nuts in the sports sedan.......and at between 9000 and 10 000 PRM shift changes I wanted to be sure they would still be located in the same position when I get out of the car as when I got in the car.
