God this is an oldy!! I ended up finding their site...just reassuring to know that if my crank does break they are still around..not that I expect it will.

And here I've been saerching pro stroke for the last year and getting nothing! They don't have a contact email on that site which is a bit of a pain in the arse, I'll just have to ring them at some stage. Apparently they're still making the 186 > 234 kit which is good to see.
FastEH: With the sump clearance, there are no worries with the engine fitting back on the standard engine mounts (HR front) are there ?? What was the sump worth or is that included in your $1500 ?? Did you get stage 2, with your bearings, or stage 3.
Is any maching necessary (assuming I have a standard bore)?

It should fit if you get an EH sump...mines in a UC and it only just fits..I had to remove the front suspension, fit the motor in the bay and put the suspension back in...twice.
Sump was worth $250. Didn't come witht the kit.
When I bought the kit they were advertising stage 1 and 2...makes no difference in a Holden six..1 size fits all...what they were refering to in stage 2 kits was external balancing for chevs...maybe they have a premium kit now, dunno. You don't get a balancer or flexplate/flywheel.
Machining...lots. Bore 55 thou oversize(on a 186) 93.472mm/3.68 inch...the reason it that big is for the ford pistons..just like datsqik said ^^^^.
You also need to die grind the base of the block to give clearance for the rod bolts (hence the modded sump)
and you have to use a cam similar to a 202 that is flat between the lobes and not a round shaft like 186..or the rod bolts will hit.
You could do it yourself but I ended up getting it assembled..but it cost me $1850 for machining and assembly.
