    HELP Pulling a boss kit

    Ok as topic states
    I cant get my stupid bos kit off to reconect the horn the idiot who put it on didnt bother with the horn
    i cant use a puller cuz there is no holes for it to bolt into and i
    I have tried hitting it from behind for at least 5 mins and it didnt do any thing
    HELP!!!!!!!!!!

    You can try hitting the top of the bolt that goes through the boss kit with a hammer, while getting someone else to pull the steering wheel straight off without using angles. Try not to damage the thread though. This has worked for me in the past.
    The trick is to get it off as evenly as possible or else it wont budge.

        if you do this you will probably mushroom the thread. proceed with caution.

        but the best method is to refit the wheel to the boss (if you removed the wheel) and PUT THE NUT BACK ON THE SHAFT maybe 3 or 4 threads (so there's a gap under the nut).

        then grab the wheel, put both feet on the firewall with the seat all the way back, and heave ho on the wheel as hard as you can (do the wobble thing as you pull on the wheel :D)

        if you dont have the nut on there, you will get a boss-shaped imprint on your forehead and a broken nose when the wheel finally comes off. :p

            Do what Secoh said... but don't put the nut on. Pull the wheel really hard towards you left then right, top then bottom.

            Then take a picture of your forehead... I wanna see what your wheel looks like.
