    Radiator 4 sigma.....

    Hey,

    just noticed in this 40 degrees+ weather the car is gettin a bit hot. Should i get the radiator re-cored with ane xtra core put in or is ther another bigger type of radiator that fits in?? What do u guys run in ya sigs / scorps?

    depends on the kind of money you are lookin at spending.

    get an alloy one. the temperature drops quite an amount, and even more if its a tripple flow desert cooler alloy setup.

      i was just goin 2 recore the stnadard (dunno what metal) one and triple core it. its only like 300 bux.

      how much would an alloy one cost?

        get the system flushed and cleaned first... could be full of crap.

          nah its pretty clean. i put coolant in there a few months back and its still beautiful and green

          coz i got the turbo in there now theres alot more heat gettin around in there!

              is aluminium any good? i spoke to a guy today that can make me up one for around 600ish. 2 x 16 or something...

                  I know of someone with a big turbo efi setup(over 200kw @ wheels) and he runs a Vk commodore radiator without any problems.

                    in a sigma karl? dos it fit ok, did he have to modify it?

                    so is aluminium one of the best metals to make one out of? and apart from being expensive is there any bad things about it?
