Fuel rail options for Z18 Turbo

OK I have some big hose tail injectors on the way and already have a huge fuel system in the car so need to sort out what fuel rail I am going to use.

The car is a Datto Sunny running a Z18 Turbo that will have a VG30 T3 running approx 14psi, big front mount etc etc.

It has the standard fuel rail currently (which is pencil thin and hopeless!) so when I put the bigger injectors in the rail needs to be done as well IMO.

SO - does anyone know what rails may bolt in and accept hose tails - looking to try and keep a bit of a budget so custom fuel rail is the last option - have had suggestions of a Camira rail or possiblry and FJ20DET rail (as they are FJ injectors) - any others??

I have a spare FJ20et rail lying round somewhere.
I can measure up the injector spacing if you want?

Fuel rail stock isn't that expensive. You could get a full custom one all machined up for under $150 I reckon. I'll be making my own, just as soon as I find the bits.

I will be out in the garage tomorrow so I will check it for you then. I have a couple of FJ20et's lying around so I can probably part with a rail if it suits your needs.

How do you know the fuel rail is hopeless?? you're just bloody saying that just by looking at it on no factual basis whatsoever!

But if its really budget, take it out and weld another inlet on half way down, between 2 and 3?

hangon, just remembered the z18, might already have that. they are a funny old thing. either way, there might be some way to beef up the standard rail..

zac - I am saying it based on the fact it is the diameter of a drinking straw (yes I am being serious!).

I have got onto a friend of my brother's who own's a stainless steel business who does a lot of pipework (hospitals etc) and he is into cars (has a Porsche race car) and said he would make a custom job for under $80 easy! So I think I will go with that!

                  Thanks for the help guys!
