    Blusteele Clutches. Any good?

Anybody had experience with Blusteele clutches? The pricing looks good but are they shit?

One of my customers has had several explode within a year, even failures within 5000km that his own customers have supplied. I prefer selling Exedy simply because there is no failure rate, maybe 1/1000 clutches we sell there is a hilux cover wrongly packed with a landcruiser disc, which is easily remedied.

      Jesus, that good!

FYI I tried to buy a stage 1 Mantic but got fucked around with one seller as there appears to be no stock. I ended up going with your favourite Extreme Clutch. I haven’t had dramas with them so far.

I had a clutch fail in the patrol. Made for a great drive back from Toowoomba... No towing or offroad work, just a soccer mum car. I replaced it with an exedy.

Had a customer supply one for a Commodore once; was garbage.

Their work boots are shit, but they are free on site so everyone has the.

+1 for Exedy. Bang for the buck.

I've got a whole stack of exedy plates that failed exactly the same as that

Just about every clutch or coupling that uses torsion springs has them fail like that.
Seen Exedy, PBR, Aisin and some Korean ones all do it.

Too much torque or too much jandal.

RD28 diesel, so unlikely torque was the issue.

I am currently on the Direct Clutch bandwagon - probably not in the right field budget wise tho.
