    Putting car on hoist

    Hey, I've got the oppitunity to throw my car on the 2 post hoist tommorow. Just wondering what you guys think I should check/do whilst it's on the hoist incase I havent thought of something.

    Oil & filter change
    check brakes (what should I check out here?)
    do basic check like a rwc inspection
    anything else u guys can think of?

    yeah check the diff oil level. it's always neglected. also, being a ford, adjust your handbrake cable, and replace the leaking speedo drive sender on the gearbox. :p

      check for flatspots on your tyres (spin it and run your hand over the tread)
      general leaks in the drivetrain
      balljoints (squeeze them with some multigrips)
      if it's an auto and not one of those sealed boxes, i'd change the filter and fluid
      check minimum limits on rotors and make sure they're still in it
      check how much pads you've got left
      have a look round for rust etc.

      and belt that freaking hand brake piston into submission to make it stop squeeking.

        Armor All up the rear tyres tread for some el-dorifto action on the cheap.

        note its bloody dangerous, ive only done it with a RC car and sterring is not there
