    you have a loose wire or dodgey connection somewhere. Check all the wires and pins in the ECU connector are pushed firmly into the connector.

        I have pulled out the loom and checked every wire, and I could not find any problems with joints or breaks..

        I will get some fittings for my pressure gauge and check the fuel pressure today, before i send my ECU to haltech to have it bench tested.

          car wont run

          mate just thought id give u a helping hand its def the ecu the same happened to my charade detomaso it burnt a component in the circuit board if u put a wire from the negative of the battery to the fuel pump relay (inside fuse box under the bonnet) it will let the car run until u get a new ecu.

            Thanks for the help, it did all seem to point to the ECU, however it was the coil having too low a resistance for the ignitor to function properly.

            Changed coil and its now running great and I have finnished tuning it.
