The advantage of that film I believe is it can be printed on and with quite complex graphics. Anyone that has ever sticked a car up will know how painful it is trying to line up stickers with different panels and how many layers some logos etc are made up of. Supercars after one race look shithouse unless your the guy out the front the whole way, they still seem to photograph well though.
