    Interesting 13BT problem

    Okay, the motor is running great and making some pretty smooth/impressive torque and power for only 14psi. It starts great, idles perfect and is responsive and a dream to drive.

    BUT

    For 900cc injectors, the thing is at 12ms on 14psi and 5500. It has 4x 900cc injectors and I can only assume that the second bank are not firing or staged wierd or something.

    The ECU is a microtech, where are the settings to double check for this stuff guys? I had a good look but this is the first MT ECU I have played with.

    what turbo is on it?

    4x900cc injectors will max out at around 340rwhp on a rotor
    im a cunt

      Not sure what it is, but its big. Its not making 340rwhp on 14psi at 6000rpm thats for sure.

          looks to be something like a t04/60 or 66, that will max those injectors on 14psi,

          you will need 900 primarys and 1600cc secondarys to get any decient boost into it,

          on 14psi with my old car i maxed 4x1200cc injectors at 400rwhp,

          you would be suprised how much power a turbo like that should make, on a rotor you will not be able to pluse the injectors for longer than around 7ms if you plan on revving it

            that turbo looks EXACTLY like my GT4088. the rear housing might not be as big as mine, but it is exactly the same style, and the front cover looks identicle in every detail as far as i can see.

                Turbo size/model aside!!?!1 :p Where are the settings in the ECU for the staging/firing of the injectors.

                Am I right assuming that only the primarys fire until a certain amount of rpm/MAP and then the secondarys kick in, or have I got it all wrong?

                Watching the AFR curve, it sits at a pretty 11:1, very flat, until SPOT ON 6000 rpm where it pings its tits off and leans out sharply. revLIM is 8500 revCUT is 8750. Boost cut is well above 14psi (18psi I think).

                    staging is in the options screen,

                    if it is leaning out sharply at 6000rpm it will be something in the mapping,

                    post the load map and ill tell you if your out of injectors or not
                    im a cunt

                        I have 12a injectors with primaries on as I have a T66 on mine but i have big mods to my engine.. I had problems prior it was leaning out on 14psi big time I even tried turning the boost down but The problem was to do with the fuel set up..

                          14psi with a T66 will be well and truly maxing out 4x12at injectors, i maxed out 4x1200cc with my T66 on 14psi ~400rwhp

                          i had a 13bt on the dyno on saturday with a high flow and 2x13bt and 2x12at injectors and they were maxed on 12psi and ~260rwhp
                          im a cunt
                          and apparently i dont know shit...

                            Well what suggestions would you have for me to be able to run bigger boost without it leaning out, my engine has been built to go and 14psi just isnt enough boost in my opinion...
