Walbro 460 / 525's are good pumps but their electrical needs can be an issue. You need to be really mindful of how well you wire them, the gauge of wire, the type of fuse terminals used. Blade type fuses seem to melt, not blow the element.

The Bosch 540 looks like a neat pump. Your wiring can support a larger pump fine....

Go to the diagnostic tab while cranking and it will tell you if it has trigger sync 'full' or not. if you don't have full trigger sync you'll get no ignition output.
Also your battery voltage and grounds need to be VERY good. the ECU...

Over the weekend I spent some time sorting the planned turbo and exhaust manifold setup.
The old school j-pipe needed a few specific things to make it work.
- a 280zx L28e exhaust manifold
- a T04 flanged turbo

Pulsing the injectors while submerged in a ultra sonic is common. They use a solvent for cleaning.

Just a on-off-on rocker i believe. The self cancelling window switches have additional smarts, probably too hard to retrofit. these would just need 12+ve and ground to work.
