I'll take some soon. On the outside it's just a regular WRX.
(That hasn't been cleaned for a fair while)

FWIW the car will be up for sale soon. It's hardly been driven over the last year, the clutch master cylinder is all gummed-up so I'll put a new one on.
It's a 2.5 litre, very light flywheel, forged pistons, Carillo rods, ported heads, Mamba ball...

I forgot to mention that in-line with my low tolerance of wankers, I'm not going to engage them, they just get banned for a while. Piss me off more than a fly-fart and I'll erase you completely from here.

Maybe. The other problem with having a small flywheel & ring gear is that the torque required by the starter motor is double that of an engine with a flywheel twice the size and that makes for a pretty grunty (and heavy) starter motor....

I have to say that given the glorious noise it'd make, it's very tempting. But engineering the engine so it's perfect right from the start is quite difficult, going EV is much easier in many ways.

I nearly forgot - Is there a VIN code stamped into the firewall? I seem to remember there wasn't, so they could never be registered and I think I remember hearing that when their life in Toyota racing was over they'd be crushed.

Nah it's because of the increasing number of whiny little bitches that pissed me off. And a couple recently posting in this thread, thus proving my point.
The car is still here, I just haven't got around to doing the last few things to finish...

Yep, the ABS light comes on. As to why, I don't know sorry. Osbourne must have know it was an ongoing problem because when we were driving around town he spotted the same model Celica and stopped to ask if he could borrow the ABS module for the weekend....

FWIW here's the car in qualifying.
I got a little faster with each of those laps, eventually able to hold full throttle from BP Cutting to Skyline. Bates was about three seconds faster than me - no surprise there! - and Neil...
