nope. kind've just where they ended up

yeah, the chain itself is cheap, its the getting it in and out that sucks. still should come in around $1500 which isnt terrible.

also gearbox realted...
part of my original "keep teh gearbox alive" plan was a gearbox cooler. the nmore i read about issues with these boxes getting super hot and lunching bearings, i figured i should just bite down and do this....

more welded stuff now that the machine is running again (and the temps have warmed up a bit so that my hand dont freeze handling below zero tools)

sooo...
in a small panic did an inspection of the circuit, got a good way into defrosting the fucker with my trusty IR patio heater, and then started pulling stuff apart to see if things were fucked or not.

Fuck - just occurred to me that the intercooler circuit was filled with plain water as I was just testing the circuit... and is presently frozen solid. Here’s hoping both cores aren’t fucked....

so job #1 knocked over:
the wing uprights mount onto the rails of the rear subframe. as the subframe is pretty thin walled box/sheet steel, i really needed to get some fasteners inside the subframe, but its a loonnggg way inside there. longer...

yep. or even just black wrinkle coat. cant leave it like that. (though id leave the injector rail alone)
