It was $35 VS $150 for the competition front mount. Since the mount wasn't ripped apart seemed like the next logical step.
Hopefully the new mounts arrive soon....

Nah didn't do front diff mount, the one on the car is stilll good.. I am looking at doing the pinion snubber mod to prevent the diff from twisting so much, put a little bit of downward pressure on it. Hopefully that should be enough....

I am kinda stuck in a snowball at the moment. I didn't think the diff mounts were bad, so I ordered some mazda competition ones, then added some engine mounts, and added some transmission mounts, and the list goes on.
I am touching everything...

Every heard of a group call rushhour? Not sure if those dropkicks still exist, but they were using stolen cars, and just cheap shitters they could get to run around do skids in. Think MHC with a lot less class, less teeth and much more meth.

Pulled out the diff to check the mount, turns out it isn't broken at all! SCORE! But once I got the diff out I noticed the rear diff bushes had torn, not badly, but still worthwhile doing while its out. That was todays job.

That is still around? I used to use that back in the old old days for ripping DIVX movies.
Thanks downloading it now....Last edited by mad_cow; 04-01-21, 03:16 PM.

The video thing was kind pissing me off a little. So scrapped that for now,.
I found the rear steer eliminators were fitted to the Import S5 I have been wrecking. I pulled them off and fitted them. The rear diff bush also doesn't appear...

Moved on the the rear bushes. What a pain these were, here is the short version.
The camber adjustable hub bushes are a pain to fit, they are slightly too wide for the hub.
One of the whiteline kits dont fit where they say, and says...FC RX7 Rear Hub Removal Time-lapse - Next step is to install the Whiteline camber adjustable bushing (KCA379) into the arm, and install the rear steer bushin...

I am about to buy the rear steer eliminator and the solid diff mount.
Is there any/much difference between the solid rear steer mounts and the maztrix ones?

So got a couple of polybushes for the rear from Whiteline
Shit thing is, their website diagram is wrong. I cant for the life of me work out where one if the bushes go. W61968
doesnt seem like any reasonable place for it to go.
