BigJonWB yep I've had a look through the window of a few old L300 looking for a 5spd column shift.

gtrboyy I've seen those eco gearboxes, weird things. The gearing in this is awkward, terminal velocity is 102km/hr, but you absolutely can't be in 3rd above 60, so the top 40% of the speed range is only possible in 4th. The parts junker has a 5spd (probably...

138ci tub is going back on any day now. Has very minimal surface rust, two people asked to buy just the tub in the first year. It's a bit of a rocking horse shit piece to get in decent shape I guess. Springs in the bench are sagged on the driver's side,...

saving the first mitsubishi ute from scrap (barely)
Caution: Low budget nugget content.
Between 1978 and 1980 mitsubishi produced the L020, the first L200/Forte. It was sold in Japan, AU, UK, and South Africa.
1.6L 4G32b motor producing 59kw, 4.89:1 diff ratio, 4spd column shift,...

Every time I drive past one of these now I imagine it doing a one wheel peel diagonally across the lane and chuckle. Good to see it's been reliable

The "Pope Micro Jet Mist Spray" fittings from Bunnings are every bit as good as the GD sti OEM fittings. Tested them with the same pump against butchers paper and watching from the side, if anything they're finer.

Would have to go to ez30 for budget sanity, shirley?
Forking out for one off ez36 parts seems a bit unreasonable considering various fast cars in the MCM stable and supergramps is already a good all rounder
